Skill Games Donate $25K in Northeastern Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving donated $25,000 to four nonprofits in Carbon, Lackawanna, and Luzerne counties.

Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company

Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company received a $5,000 from Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving. The donation will be used to update security cameras and monitor/recording devices to insure adequate protection of patrons, employees, and property as they previously did not have surveillance.

Fleetville Volunteer Fire Company of Benton Township

Fleetville Volunteer Fire Company of Benton Township received a $10,000 donation from Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving. The donation will be used to purchase turnout gear such as coats, pants, hoods, boots, gloves, helmets, and safety vests.

Goodwill Hose Co. 2 of Plymouth

Goodwill Hose Co. 2 of Plymouth received a $5,000 donation from Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving. The donation will be used to remodel the fire station kitchen and training area to better serve the volunteers.

La Casa Dominicana De Hazleton, also known as The Dominican House of Hazleton, received a $5,000 donation from Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving.

La Casa Dominicana De Hazleton, also known as The Dominican House of Hazleton, received a $5,000 donation from Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving. The donation will be used to support their programming. The foundation is a daily food bank and has a provides assistance for low income families, translation and immigration services, and has a U.S. citizenship program.
